How To Join

Membership is open and welcome to men and women.Please request an application form from the Secretary,or dowload a copy at the foot of this page

Note:all membership applications also must be sponsored by two exisiting members,but i
f you are unable to comply with this requirement please speak to the secretary or any committee member to discuss alternative arrangements.

 

The membership subscription for 2022 is £260, plus a one-off joining fee of £50 payable either fully upon joining or by a monthly standing order of £25.

 

Abated monthly rates apply in the case of new members joining after January 2022.

 

Guests: Welcome at any time accompanied by a member. A maximum of 3 visits per non-family guest per annum.

 

Dress Code

 

  • The dress code permits smart casual to be worn at all times. This is defined as follows:
  • Men. Tailored open neck shirts, polo shirts and tailored trousers including chinos. Long or short sleeved v-necked or crew-necked pullovers are acceptable as long as they are worn over a collared shirt. Roll-neck sweaters are also acceptable. No jacket or tie is required.
  • Women. Are asked to dress with formality commensurate with the occasion and within the spirit of the rules.
  • Jeans are allowed, but NOT with accidental or "designer" rips and tears.
  • The following clothing is NOT considered to be suitable smart casual dress :-  ripped, torn or dirty clothing, trainers, sportswear and shorts.

Dress code

For clarification,this is as below:

 

Smart casual attire (Jacket/tie not essential)

 

Tailored open-neck shirts or blouses including polo shirts, no T-shirts.

 

Tailored trousers (inc Chinos)

 

Skirts and dresses

 

Tailored shorts from 1st May - End of September

 

Jeans permissible but not ripped, torn or dirty ones ("Designer" Jeans with rips and tears are NOT allowed

 

Sportswear is not permitted

 

Shoes, boots including deck shoes and smart trainers are permitted, but not Wellington Boots, flip flops or sandals

 

 

There might be some alterations in the event of very hot weather See Notice board.
